Pastor Howard Swick

Pastor Howard Swick was born and raised in a little community called Hacker's Creek, about four miles from the small City War town of Philippi, WV. He was the eighth of nine children, and the son of a retired coal miner. After some rocky teenage years, he totally committed to Christ and it has been a crazy ride ever since.

From Prison Ministry, Hospice Chaplaincy, Youth Ministry, to Homeless Ministry; Pastor Howard has developed a unique style to share God's love with the hurt and lost.

Pastor Howard and his wife Benita are currently the Senior Pastors at Haven of Hope Worship Center between Philippi and Belington West Virginia. Together, they have two beautiful daughters, Hannah and Katie. Pastor Howard also currently works as a Hospice Chaplin where he has been used by God to bring peace through God's Word into homes of the terminally ill.
